The First Edition of Metal Detecting for Gold in Australia was printed in July 1980 at a pretty sizeable 174 pages. Forty years on and we now have the Sixth Edition at an incredible 456 pages full of knowledge and tips for both experienced and non experienced prospectors.
Those who have been in the game a long time will get a kick out of reading about the people that they know as well as the author’s own prospecting journey. Whereas those who are new to this pastime may garner some fortune changing knowledge from this great book. The many maps included will no doubt inspire countless gold hunting expeditions.
