Plug-and-Play Plumbing That Just Works
The VortexPro features a built-in jet nozzle—engineered directly into the bowl’s inlet—to deliver smooth, balanced inflow straight into the vortex system. Below that, a custom thread converter comes pre-fitted, acting as a sacrificial part to absorb stress and protect the bowl from damage if overtightened. If it cracks, simply swap it out—far better than cracking the entire bowl, which is exactly what happens with most other bowl designs. All plumbing components come pre-installed and ready to go. Just connect a standard garden hose 16mm female coupling, or grab the optional pump and hose kit for a complete, recirculation plug-and-play setup.

To keep your VortexPro in tip-top condition:

Avoid removing the pre-fitted thread converter. It’s factory-sealed for a watertight fit, and repeated removal may cause wear over time. Please also avoid any over tightening of the pre-fitting thread converter and the BSP nippple if applicable.

Like any precision gear, it’s best stored out of direct sunlight and away from extreme heat. While it’s built to handle typical Aussie conditions, long-term exposure to very high temperatures of 50c and above (like inside sealed vehicles or hot sheds) may shorten its lifespan. Store in a shaded, well-ventilated spot when possible.

Don’t leave water sitting stagnant in the bowl when not in use. Empty it out after each session to avoid unnecessary soakage on the material.

Use the built-in drainage hole after each use to prevent water buildup and reduce the risk of swelling or warping from moisture retention.

A quick wipe-down with a tea towel or rag is a simple way to keep it dry and in great shape—especially before long-term storage.
